Tiffani Jackson

Congratulations on your child's acceptance to Airline Park Academy for Advanced Studies. I want to personally welcome you to our school family. With many successful years of operation behind us, we are anxiously looking forward to another school year of learning and activities. Airline Park Academy will have many opportunities for student, parent, and community participation and it is my hope that all of you will be involved. 

We have received our lists of new students and are very excited to have them before the end of this school year. We do a great deal of communication throughout the school year through e-mail and have added you to our list. E-mails are sent throughout the year-school newsletter, lunch menus, reminders, special announcements, bus changes and beginning of the year events. 

Our PTO is a very active organization. Each year's fund raising efforts by the PTO and FRIENDS of APAAS raise over $60,000 which is vital to extra programming, as we do not receive Title I funding. These groups are also charged with many special school/family activities. Volunteerism and parental involvement play a positive role in our school's success. At Open House, parents will be able to sign up for PTO membership. 

I am very excited to welcome you to our school and the many wonderful experiences that we will be able to offer our students. I look forward to meeting you and working closely with all of you to ensure every student's achievement.
